Anatory Software is an independent software studio in Oregon, building its own apps and taking on yours. The newest is PyPad, a complete Python and pygame development environment that runs entirely on your phone.

Write and run real Python on your phone, and play the games you make, entirely offline. A full CPython interpreter and pygame-ce are bundled inside the app, so there is no account to make, nothing to download, and no internet connection required.
What Anatory is for
The test for anything Anatory ships is whether the person who built it would put it on their family's phones. That rules out most of what the industry now does by default.
No invented urgency, no cancel button hidden three screens deep, no layout quietly steering you toward the option that pays Anatory better. If a screen is trying to talk you into something, Anatory built it wrong.
Anatory asks for as little as it can, explains why at the moment it asks, and the app keeps working when you say no. PyPad requests exactly one permission, and it is optional.
You pay with money or with attention, and either way the trade should still look good to you a year later. Anatory would rather charge a small one-time price than run a subscription that never ends, and where an app is free, the advertising has to stay light enough to be worth it.
Wherever the law allows it, Anatory's policies and terms are written in plain sentences instead of defensive fog. If you cannot tell what an app collects after two minutes of reading, that is Anatory's failure.
