Open source

Source and patches.

Anatory's apps are built on open-source software. Where Anatory changes something, the changes get published here.

Live on GitHub

This address is permanent. It is the URL Anatory's apps point to from their attribution screens, so it will always lead to wherever the code currently lives. Today that is GitHub: github.com/AnatorySoftware/source.

What is published

  • The patches and build scripts behind PyPad's pygame-ce Android build. The wheels they produce, and the exact upstream source they were built from, are attached to a tagged release for each shipped app version
  • Anatory's modifications to any other bundled open-source component
  • The attribution data each app ships, listing every component and its license

Source by email, if you prefer

Some components Anatory's apps bundle (pygame-ce and the SDL libraries among them) are licensed under the LGPL, which guarantees your right to their source code, including Anatory's modifications. All of it is in the repository above, but GitHub is not a requirement: email contact@anatory.com and Anatory will send you the source for any open-source component it ships, including its changes, at no charge.

This URL is intentionally boring: anatory.com/source. Links elsewhere may move; this one will not.
